FIVE ELEMENTS IN METAL, FIRE, WATER, EARTH, AND WOOD INTERACTIONS (P.I)

FIVE ELEMENTS IN METAL, FIRE, WATER, EARTH, AND WOOD INTERACTIONS (P.I)

When choosing a spouse based on their “Elemental Destiny,” which refers to the Five Elements’ interactions, sometimes one element may overcome another. This is not necessarily bad; in fact, such interactions can sometimes lead to beneficial outcomes. Not every conflict between elements is harmful.

In marriage, evaluating the compatibility of spouses through the Five Elements’ interactions with their “Elemental Destiny” often causes concern. For example, a person with an Earth element marrying someone with a Wood element (since Wood overcomes Earth) might worry about issues such as the Wood drawing all the nutrients from the Earth, etc.

However, each of the Five Elements has specific characteristics in their elemental subcategories, such as Earth having Lo Bang Earth, Sa Trung Earth, Dai Trach Earth, and so on. Here are the characteristics of interactions among these subcategories:

METAL ELEMENT:

  • Sword Metal, Sand Metal are metals found in swords and sand.
  • Wood element weakens when encountering Metal, creating a conflict.
  • If there is no Fire, Sword Metal and Sand Metal will not become useful objects. However, both metals conflict with Wood (Metal overcomes Wood), leading to situations where Wood can diminish Metal’s benefits. Despite this, the Metal’s interaction with Wood still results in a less unfavorable outcome (good at first but bad later), because Metal in its raw form cannot fully overcome flourishing Wood or damage trees without further harm.

Other types of Metal, such as Hai Trung Metal (Metal in the sea), Bach Lap Metal (Metal in wax), Thoa Xuyen Metal (Jewelry Metal), and Kim Bach Metal (Colored Metal), are all unfavorable when encountering Fire.

FIRE ELEMENT:

  • Phuc Dang Fire, Lu Trung Fire, and Son Dau Fire are types of fire including lamp fire, stove fire, and mountain fire.
  • These types of fire will be extinguished when encountering Water. This is true for the interactions where Water overcomes Fire, leading to a situation where the fire’s benefits are lost.

Heavenly Fire (Fire in the sky) and Lightning Fire (Thunder Fire), on the other hand, need to be combined with Water. With Water present, their characteristics are enhanced. When Water (Yin) meets Fire (Yang), it can result in thunder and lightning.

EXPLANATION: Do not think that Fire always overcomes Metal. If the destiny is Sword Metal or Sand Metal and it is combined with someone of the Fire element in marriage, it can be extremely beneficial. Sword Metal (gold in swords) and Sand Metal (gold in sand) need Fire to become functional. Both types of Metal conflict with Wood (Metal overcomes Wood) due to the nature of the elements, and even though Wood can weaken Metal, it does not destroy it completely.
